Shani Sammons’ passion is connecting fans with their favorite artists through creative marketing and digital strategies. Shani has worked with artists/projects, industry professionals and brands – Sugarland, Florida Georgia Line, Lady Antebellum, Eli Young Band, Jana Kramer, David Nail, Sean Kingston, Cole Taylor, Sonia Leigh, Styx, Mama Jan Smith, Delta Air Lines, Turner Broadcasting, AT&T, Verizon and NASCAR throughout her career.
In 2011, Shani launched SSMG, a boutique digital marketing firm that focuses on direct to fan relationship strategies for music clients. In 2013, Shani joined AT&T to lead their marketing strategy for their newest country music channel, Country Deep. Currently, Shani leads Verizon Telematics social media strategy for their products and services and runs Shani Sammons Marketing Group with a team of digital and social media professionals based in Atlanta, Georgia.
Shani holds a Masters of Business Administration in Marketing from Georgia Tech, and a Bachelor of Science in Urban Policy Studies from Georgia State University. She also serves on The Recording Academy Chapter (GRAMMYS) Board of Governors.
